Madison Dolphins Swim and Dive Team (MST)

We are a 40+ year old organization operating as a summer recreation league team under District II of the Alabama Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA). Our practices and home meets are conducted at the Dublin Park facility located at 8324 Madison Pike, Madison, AL 35758-1121. Our organization was formed in 1980 to provide and improve competitive amateur swimming and diving in the Madison, Alabama community. The Madison Dolphins Swim and Dive Team encourages and promotes sportsmanship and strives to build healthy minds and bodies for the members of the team.

Make up day for Trouts that had to be cancelled due to weather on 2 May will be on Monday 5th May 4-5.15 pm

2025 Madison Dolphins

Swim Team Tryouts 1-3 May 2025

We are a summer team only.

Tryouts are

WHERE: Dublin Park Indoor Pool

WHEN: Wednesday 30 April 8 & unders

Thursday 1 May 9-10

Friday 2 May 11 & over

TIME: 4 pm-5.30 pm

WHO: All welcome. 5, 6, 7 and 8 year olds needed. No previous swim team experience required.

All those who were on the Deveolpment team will need to tryout again this year.

WHAT TO BRING: Swimsuit, goggles and a towel

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Swimmers who are 8 & under are expected to be able to swim 25 yds of freestyle with side breathing and 25 yds of backstroke without stopping. Those who are 9 & over will need to be able to swim 50 yds of freestyle with side breathing and 50 yds backstroke at the minimum (although the strokes do not need to be perfected)..

For new divers, there are no tryouts.
