We ALWAYS need stroke and turn judges, starters, and referees! Please consider training to become a certified stroke and turn judge, or for those of you with stroke and turn experience, please consider training for starter or referee. We are also interested in training computer people - so please consider that position, as well. The stroke and turn judge training takes a couple of hours and is followed by a test. Once you pass the test, you then train alongside an existing stroke and turn judge at three events and then you are certified to judge independently at future meets. We can use the time trials for training as well as regular meets. The certification is good for two years. If you are already certified for stroke & turn, we encourage you to continue your training for starter and referee. These are incredibly important positions and we want to have people in training so we will ensure we have coverage in these posts in the future. Officials Training In Person: June 1st, 8am Burke Center June 4th, 7pm Sugarland Run Virtual: May 22nd, 7pm - details coming soon June 11th - details coming soon
Please contact Kim Theberge, Team Rep with any stroke and turn training questions.
