Registration for the 2026 Miramonte Swim & Dive team will be open December 8th-January 9th!

Registration Steps

1) SPORTSNET CLEARANCE. All athletes must comply with district requirements for SportsNet athletic clearance. Your swimmer must be cleared by February 9th to get in the pool. You may have completed this for a fall or winter sport. If you have not done so, please submit your swimmer's athletic clearance. If your student was cleared for a different sport but did not indicate they would swim/dive, please update the form on SportsNet.

2) FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION FORM.

Go to the MHS Swim and Dive Team Unify home page and click on the Team Registration button. Please register as soon as possible to receive communications, volunteer info, and meet entries. If you are new to Mats Swim and Dive, please create a username and password in SportsEngine; you will verify your email to proceed. Returning swimmers use the same username and password from last year and then verify information (e.g. t-shirt size. Note that the size defaults to the previous year’s size, unless it is changed.). You will get a Team Unify order confirmation email and a second email once your swimmer’s athletic clearance is complete. For questions about registration, please contact Kristie Bonham at [email protected]

3) MAKE YOUR ATHLETIC CONTRIBUTION (THIS IS A PER SWIMMER CONTRIBUTION)

Every year the Mats Swim & Dive team collects an athletic contribution from each participating athlete. Athletic contributions help cover the essential costs of the Mats Swim & Dive team including coaches' stipends, bus transportation to meets, meet expenses and supplies, snacks at every home meet, team dinners & breakfasts, morning practice donuts, banquet attendance for athletes, senior celebrations and commemorative banners, team t-shirts and swim caps, and much more. We would love 100% of Mats Swim & Dive athletes to participate! Here is the LINK to the Miramonte High School Revtrak (webstore) where you can make your contribution. This year we are asking for a $550 contribution per athlete. Thank you for supporting the team! Here is some additional information about athletic funding at Miramonte LINK. If you have questions about funding, please contact Lee O'Haver (Boosters) at l[email protected].

4) PURCHASE APPAREL.

Each swimmer will receive a Mats Swim & Dive swim cap and team t-shirt. Please make sure to indicate what size team tee your swimmer would like during the registration process. You must order suits, parkas, along with any other desired optional apparel items for your swimmer. The apparel stores will be open from January 2nd - 9th. All gear needs to be placed by January 9th and will arrive by time trials, including team uniform and optional gear. If you have questions about team suits or apparel please contact Ali Drasin at [email protected].

5) SWIM SAFETY EVALUATION.

All swimmers must pass a swim safety evaluation during the first week of practice. This will include swimming 1000 freestyle with flip turns and two 50s of each stroke (breast, back, and butterfly). Successful completion of the safety evaluation is required for all swim team members.

6) VOLUNTEER SHIFT SIGN-UPS IN JANUARY.

Our team relies on the volunteer efforts of EVERY family. Volunteer shifts are per swimmer. A separate email will be sent in January with the swim volunteer shift requirements and shift sign-up info.
