Current Middle School Information
All SHPS RAC swimmers currently in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade are encouraged to participate in our Middle School program as a preparation for swimming in High School and beyond. The middle school season typically starts after Thanksgiving and ends with the MISCA State meet at the end of January. Meets are typically held weekday evenings. Students need to remain in good academic standing and have a sports physical on file with the school. Note: Between Thanksgiving and January 21, middle school swimmers may only swim two (2) non-middle school meets.
In order to be eligible to compete at the Middle School MISCA State meet, swimmers MUST swim a minimum of 2 middle school meets and meet the current year cut off time for the event.
