Job Description

The Junior Coach program is a longstanding hallmark of the Tracy Tritons, built to develop leadership and support emerging leaders within our community. 

The Junior Coach supports young swimmers in developing strong fundamentals, confidence, and enthusiasm for swimming. This role focuses on teaching age-appropriate skills, using clear instruction, patience, and adaptable coaching methods. The coach helps facilitate practices, provides technical feedback, and creates a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates bring personal experience in swimming, including proficiency across strokes and participation on a school or competitive team.

Applicants should be motivated to grow as leaders, build coaching skills, and inspire younger athletes. For those who have previous junior coach experience, prior coaching effectiveness, reliability, and consistent engagement with swimmers are key factors in selection.
