Welcome to River Run Raptors Water Polo
Raptors Water Polo is a developmental team for athletes ages 8-14 (summer after 8th grade) and part of the River Run Swim family. We welcome members from the River Run community AND beyond! While many of our players also swim for the Raptors, we have swimmers and players from many other neighboring communities, too, including Breckenridge, Ashbury, Stillwater, and more. All are welcome!
Our team is a member of the NSSWPL (Naperville Summer Subdivision Water Polo League) which offers competition on three levels:
- 14U coed
- 11U coed
- 14U girls (girls can also play on their age group coed teams)
The NSSWPL is an instructional league focused on introducing young players to the basics of water polo. The Raptors team goal is to expose participants to the rules of the game, passing, shooting, and basic movement in a fun-first way that makes athletes eager to return next season. All Raptors Water Polo coaches are current or former high school and/or club players committed to sharing the sport they love with the next generation.
Practices (June 4, 2025-Thursday, July 10, 2025):
- Wednesdays 11:00 a.m-12:00 noon
- Thursdays 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
- Sundays 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. (off July 6 and when Sunday games are scheduled)
