Head Coach Ashley House Smith

Hello Gators! My name is Ashley (House) Smith and I am returning for my 6th year as Head Coach for the Gators. For 20 years I have been coaching swimmers all the way from blowing bubbles to the national level. In my tenure I have coached 10 & Under swimmers to several state titles, coached middle school swimming for Sunman-Dearborn Middle School (SDMS) for 5 years, as well as assisted with East Central High School (ECHS) Swim team for a few years. I have been a swim lesson instructor for 19 years in both group and private lessons. Back in the day I was a competitive swimmer for East Central Swim Team (ECST), SDMS, and ECHS in Southeast Indiana; so I am a Northern Kentucky transplant for the past 4 years! In high school I was a state qualifier all four years and I also went on to swim in college at Baldwin Wallace College (now University) in Berea, OH. My parents were my coaches for most of my swimming career so I bring with me the experience and belief of work hard-play hard for success as a swim team family. My brother Kyle swam for Purdue University and Queens University and my youngest brother Grant swam for Arizona State University. I currently work for Erlanger Elsmere Schools as a School Psychologist. I have a wonderful husband, Brady, 2 daughters (Aven-9, Finley-13), 2 sons (Mason-16, Zachary-17). My family and I are very excited to be back for our 6th season with the Gators!!

Assistant Swim Coach Mallory Ryan

My name is Mallory (Neltner) Ryan and this is my first year as one of the assistant coaches at Five Seasons! I’ve been coaching/teaching lessons in some capacity almost every year since I was 15 years old. I grew up swimming for the Fort Thomas Swim Club, where I still hold 14 individual records, and oddly enough, I still hold 3 NKSL league records, as well. I began my college swimming career at Louisiana State University, before transferring after my sophomore year to Western Kentucky University (where I met my husband), to be closer to home. I’ve been looking to get back into coaching for the last couple of years, but have been very busy building our family. I have an amazing husband, Greg, who is a realtor for Huff out of their Florence office and 3 wonderful children, Will (5), Macy (3), and Andrew (2). We also have a Boykin spaniel named Beans, who is the world’s greatest dog, and a Beta fish named Ollie. I’m a special education teacher at Ryle High School, and in my free time, I love to be at our lakehouse on Williamstown Lake and doing all things boating. Looking forward to a great season with the Gators!

Assistant Swim Coach Ethan Hanna

This is my 4th year as an assistant swim coach for the Gators. I swam competitively for the Northern Kentucky Clippers for about 10 years, then moved on and swam for 2 years at the University of Cincinnati. I grew up swimming for Brookwood Bluefish, but but moved to Five Seasons in my later years where I swam for the Gators in NKSL a few seasons. The past year and a half, to stay into swimming, I have coached the 13-14 age group at the Northern Kentucky Clippers. I am super excited to get back into coaching NKSL as I took a summer season off and miss it a ton. I believe great things are going to happen this summer. GO GATORS!

My name is Sydney Dierig. I was 15 years old when I started diving for the NKSL at Five Seasons and have been diving ever since. That same year I began to dive on the varsity dive team at Notre Dame academy. Summer diving is what made me fall in love with the sport. I fell in love with the sport of diving after many years of competitive cheer and dance.  I am very excited for this diving season. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every kid and making the season as fun as possible while helping everyone gain and develop new skills.
