What is the Junior Gator Swim Team?:  Junior Gators is a program offered at Five Seasons for emerging swimmers that is linked to the Gator swim team. If your child loves the water and wants to join the swim team fun, but is not eligible due to age, or cannot quite swim legal strokes or an entire lap, Junior Gators is for you! A Junior Gator will practice two days a week for an hour each time. During these practices, there will be a higher ratio of instructors to swimmers to ensure that legal strokes are being taught.

The goal of Junior Gators is to teach swimmers legal strokes and a love for swimming in hopes that they will be future Gator swimmers! All of the spirit events for the Gator Swim Team are open to the Junior Gators and they will also receive a team shirt and team cap.

What Ages are Junior Gators?:  Typically, Junior Gators are ages 4-8.

Swim Meets:  In addition, we will have 2 informal "swim meets" at Five Seasons where the swimmers will be able to feel what it is like to race in a meet no matter what their skill level.  Junior Gators love the meets!

Practices: Monday & Wednesday 11:00-11:50 a.m., June 3th - July 10th.  Multiple coaches are in the water to help with stroke instruction and no more than 10 swimmers per 2 instructors.
