Deborah Walker - Head Coach

Email: [email protected]

Coach Debbie started swimming at the age of 4. She swam as a Sharonville Shark, an Evendale Eagle, a Princeton Viking and finally as a Bearcat for the University of Cincinnati. She began coaching at Evendale her junior year in high school through her first few years of college (88-93). She coached at Princeton HS from 94-96 and at Turpin HS from 96-01. After taking a few years off she returned to the Eagles back in 2011 and has been here ever since. Coach Debbie attended Princeton HS and the University of Cincinnati. Her favorite thing to do outside of swimming is to ‘Yell at MY kids’ ;) and watching them play sports. She will be coaching all age groups this year and her advice to our swimmers for a successful season is to ‘listen to your coaches and be coachable.’ Her final thoughts to share with us … ‘Come join Jen and I at morning swims, summer and winter!’

Coach Jen started swimming for the Evendale Eagles around the age of 7 or 8 and continued until she stood on the diving boards on senior night.  She swam for PAC (Princeton Aquatic Club) throughout high school and for Princeton HS sophomore year through senior year. She started coaching the Eagles in 2008-2014; she took one year off but returned in 2016. Jen coached Princeton HS swimming and water polo off and on from 2006 through the 2021-2022 school year. She attended Princeton HS, University of Toledo (undergrad) and Xavier University (masters). Her favorite thing to do outside of swimming is playing sports. Her advice to our swimmers is to ‘do better today than yesterday and focus on technique even when tired.’ Her final thoughts to share with us … #Eaglesforlife

I've been swimming for a total of 10 years; 8 years with the Eagles. I attended St. Xavier High School. I love coaching at Evendale. My career in the water may have come to an end but I have a lot more to give. GO EAGLES!

In my time as a swimmer I've been a part of many teams, St. Xavier High School, the Blue Ash YMCA, the Marlins, and the Evendale Eagles. That said, my fondest swimming memories are with the Evendale Eagles. Whether it be Funday Fridays, weekly snacks, or the big party after championships being an Eagle has always been a ton of fun. The Evendale Eagles are a community I'm proud to be a part of and I look forward to coaching this summer!

Nick started swimming for the Evendale Eagles at the age of 4 and year-round swimming at the age of 7 in the YMCA system. He continued competing with both programs through high school. He went to St. Xavier High School where he swam all 4 years as an Aquabomber and was on the State Team his junior and senior year. Nick just finished his freshman year at Xavier University, swimming distance/IM events for the Musketeers and majoring in Business. Nick is excited to share his love of swimming and Evendale with all the Eagles this summer. Go Eagles!
