Tie Dye Day Friday, June 6
Tuesday was so fun seeing all the Barracudas back in the water! Hopefully the raining days are behind us and warm sunshine is ahead!
Our tie dye day will be Friday, June 6. Swimmers will tie dye their t-shirts after their age group practice on Friday. If your swimmer is unable to attend on Friday, a t-shirt will be tie dyed for your swimmer. We will have those t-shirts at the pool to pick up at time trials or during practice next week. Swimmers in attendance will be coming home with a tie dyed shirt in a ziploc bag. The next steps for washing the shirt are as follows:

Leave the t-shirt in the Ziploc bag for 24-48 hours (longer time leads to more intense colors)

Rinse the shirt well with water until the excess dye is removed

Cut off the rubber bands

Set your washing machine to "large load" setting with the hottest water and add a small amount of laundry detergent

Wash and dry the t-shirt separately

Wash separately for the first few washes
The tie dye event will be set up in front of the little deck next to the parking lot.
