Welcome to Championship meet season! Classic and City for all swimmers, coaches, and families is a celebration! We are looking forward to a very fun Saturday, July 19th afternoon session at Neuqua Valley High School for Classic!

As a reminder, there will be breakfast for the Classic swimmers after their respective practices tomorrow (Friday), as well as car decorating for parents. We provide the materials to be able to decorate your windows cheering on your swimmer. For the next two weeks, you will see lots of cars driving around Naperville with their windows decorated. If you are looking for some extra spirit, you can still buy a Barracudas car magnet.

Team Set up: We will be setting up our team spaced in the gym, please see the map.We will be in between Hobson West and Ashbury. You do not need to bring a tent. But chairs and/or blankets are highly recommended. They are not allowing food in the gym area, there will be plenty of designated eating areas but in the actual gym, no food. Clear beverages will be allowed.
Bullpen: Bullpen will be IN the gym very close to our seating area. Please help your swimmer to keep an eye on which events are being lined up and make sure they are getting over to the bullpen on time. Please do not wait for someone to come from the bullpen to get your swimmer.
Locker Rooms: Swimmers need to come dressed to swim, there is no changing in the bathrooms. There is a locker room available for swimmers only but that will just be for bathroom use.
Door Decorations: Before you leave your house, be sure to check your door for a little something at your front door Friday evening to cheer on your swimmer. Please bring this to the meet. We will be hanging them on the wall with painters tape in our team area.

Concessions: 2025 Concessions will be provided by Ajax Soccer Club. We have no further information on what will be served or payments. BE SURE TO BRING CASH just in case
Jobs: Everyone who has a swimmer attending classic has been assigned to a job. If there are any changes for your swimmer or you about completing your job, please reach out to Ashley Barra ASAP. Our team will get in big trouble if we have parents not showing up for their assigned jobs. Here is the timeline for jobs:
1:15pm Team Job Coordinator (Ashley Barra) report to volunteer check-in tables for volunteer name tags and lanyards
1:15-1:25pm All workers check-in with team volunteer coordinators
1:40pm Session A& B Marshals meeting and area assignment (Hallway tables)
1:40pm Bullpen/Clerk of Course meeting (gym)

Events. Events (individual and relays) have been assigned to swimmers and can be viewed now in your sports engine app. The session report for Classic PM (the event #s and timeline) have also been posted which can be found here: Classic PM Session Report. This is the report if you are wondering what time your swimmer is swimming their events, you will want to view the session report.
Other information:
- The pool balcony will be open for watching the swimmers. We recommend just going up for your swimmer’s race and then returning to the Huntington area to meet up with your swimmer.
- There are important guidelines for the spectator area (balcony). There will be NO:
- Saving of seats (Marshals will be strictly enforcing this rule)
- Swimmers or swimming gear in the stands
- Blankets, towels, folding chairs in the stands
- No strollers in the stands
- No standing along the railing, obstructing others’ view

Coaches Virtual Tip Jar
Finally, the coaches virtual tip jar is still open in advance of Sunday’s banquet. If you would like to send tips prior to the event, please submit via Zelle to: [email protected] (Please include in the notes section that this is for coaches’ tips). Cash/Zelle will be accepted during the banquet, as well.
