BIG WIN FOR POLY PREP MEN'S & WOMENS SWIM TEAM!! On February 7th, 2024, Our Men’s & Women’s Swim teams competed against Riverdale in the closest meet of the year! The scores of the meet were Men:86-82 & Women: 89-78. After a slow start to the year, we really ended the season on a high note!! On February 3rd, 2024. Poly Prep hosted our very first duel meet at Brooklyn Sports Club, against StonyBrook. At the start of the meet we honored our three seniors, Eyton Ng, Jasmine Grant-Phillips, & Maia Steiner. On February 2nd, 2024 Poly Men’s and Women’s team competed against Hackley. We had an amazing meet with our Men’s team! Finishing with a score of 86-63, our men put their best efforts and succeeded! On the women’s side we fell short with a score of 81-58. Our women swam the best they could but were outnumbered in many races. Incredible meet for the Poly Prep Men’s and Women’s swim teams! On Wednesday, January 31st, we competed against the Dalton school, in the Bronx, and earned ourselves our first double win! The scores of the meet were 87-71 Girls & 93-57 Men’s. We out our best effort forward and it awarded us with an amazing win! On January 17th, 2024, Our men’s & women’s swim team competed at Horace Mann school, in the Bronx. As our team gets stronger, we can see the improvements in our races. We are getting closer and closer to winning a dual meet. For today, both teams lost with scores of Men: 97-72 & Women: 100-58. But we know we will do better in our next meet! Next two weeks, we will be swimming against Dalton. Wish us luck!

On January 12th, 2024, Poly Men’s & Women’s Swim teams competed against Trinity. Poly Prep Varsity Men’s and Women’s team competed in their first meet of the season against Fieldston School, in the Bronx. Although we fought hard, we lost to both their men and women. 78-72 Men & 70-50 Women. We were very proud to see how well our swimmers did with a low attendance at the meet today. On Wednesday November 29th, 2023, Poly Prep Men’s and Women’s Swim Team competed at Horace Mann for our annual relay carnival against all Ivy League schools! We competed with 25 swimmers on the roster and we are excited to see how our season goes with our growing team! Congrats to all our swimmers and let’s get excited for this new year!

Poly Prep swimmers have finally had a chance to compete against Horace Maan after having this meet rescheduled 3 times due to various reasons. Poly Prep swimmers had some great swims with most swimming their personal best times. Despite their great swims, the Poly Prep boys and girls squads came up short and were defeated by Horace Maan due to the much larger number of swimmers on the Horace Maan side.
