Poly Prep swimmers attended their first dual meet of the season this afternoon. Even though they’ve had only 1 practice after Thanksgiving break and this week’s snow event, which took swimmers away from the pool for almost a week, the boys and girls gave their best! Competing against Riverdale High School, Poly Prep girls won with a solid point total of 129 points, winning the meet by almost 100 points. Our swimmers kicked off the season competing in the Relay Carnival Meet at Horace Mann School. The Girls Team dominated the meet and won 5 out of the 7 relay races while the boys, despite having only 8 swimmers, gave it their best and managed to grab 4 third place finishes. The Coaches were proud of the boys efforts with most being forced to swim back to back races.
