Cheri Germer, Director of the Miniwaves
Miss Cheri began teaching swimming many years ago at Glen Oaks Swim Club in Carmichael, CA. Her children were on the swim team and she was encouraged and mentored by the amazing Roxanne John Mefford to teach swimming.
After moving to Moraga in 1993, Cheri began teaching at MCC. For the next five years she had the pleasure of teaching and coaching both the Mini Waves and the 6 and unders. Under her leadership, the young swimmers of MCC dominated the OMPA!
Coach Kristen had the good fortune of coaching under Coach Cheri in the late 1990s and wanted to bring Cheri's magic with the Minis back to the pool deck. In 2024 Cheri returned to the deck and completely revapped the minwave program with great success and buy in. She is more than ready for another successful season in 2025!
