Group #2 “Intro to Minis” 4:30-5:00
This group is intended for kids who are planning to sign up for our mini-wave program and who already meet criteria (see below). These swimmers want to have a head start on the mini wave program for the summer. There is a chance that a select few of these swimmers will be ready to 6 and unders this summer.
Cost: $300. We are unable to prorate for swimmers who cannot attend daily.
Staff: Miss Cheri and our fabulous MCC JR Coaches
MINI WAVE CRITERIA:
The Miniwave Program was developed to transition swimmers from being water-safety competent to being ready to participate on our swim team should they choose to. Most participants range in age from 4 to 6 years old. The program is designed to introduce all four competitive strokes. With a low swimmer to coach ratio, children are mentored with positive reinforcement in a fun learning environment. Criteria for joining minis:
-
Are comfortable putting their face in the water.
-
Can motor approximately 12 feet unassisted.
-
Can float on back
-
Able to follow coaches’ directions
For Spring Swimmer registration; questions or concerns please feel free to connect with Miss Cheri by email ([email protected]), or by text/phone (925.963.7879)
