Swim Team News ~ Week of February 5

WEEK OF FEBRUARY 5, 2024

Dear Swim Team Families,

Spring Clinics registration opened yesterday on www.mvpswimteam.com. We are excited to welcome spring swim back to MVP! Weekday clinics will run March 4 - April 18 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Weekend clinics will take place on 5 Saturdays beginning March 9. Please refer to the team website for age group schedules, dates, times, and registration information. 

As a reminder, there will be no coaches in the water during clinics. If you are a new 8&Under swimmer, were a Mini Marlin in 2023, and/or did not compete in 2023, you must attend the Spring Clinics evaluation at MVP on March 3 before registering. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090945AFAF2AA6FF2-47762318-mvpspring

Registration for the 2024 swim team season opens on February 11 on www.mvpswimteam.com. 2024 season information is up-to-date on the team website including the 2024 Calendar and In Season and Out of Season practice schedules.

Spring Clinics Registration Opens - February 4

Swim Team Registration Opens - February 11

Spring Clinics Evaluations - March 3

Evaluations are for any swimmer who is 8 or younger and is new to MVP and/or did not compete in the 2023 swim season. 

Weekday Spring Clinics - Begin March 4

Weekday Clinics will run three days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays) beginning March 4 and ending on April 18. No clinics during the week of April 1. 

Weekend Spring Clinics - Begin March 9

Weekend Clinics will be held on five Saturdays (March 9, 23, 30 and April 13, 20).

8&Under Evaluations - March 23

Evaluations are for any swimmer who is 8 or younger and is new to MVP and/or did not compete in the 2023 swim season. 

Swimsuit Fittings - March 23 and April 9 

Final Day to Order Suits and Caps - April 12

FUTURE DATES TO CALENDAR:

In School Season - April 22 to May 30

In School Season will run four days a week (Monday-Thursday) beginning April 22 and ending on May 30. No practice on Memorial Day.

Volunteer Sign Ups - April 25, 26, 27

Final Day to Register for Swim Team & Get a Team Shirt! - May 12

Time Trials - May 18

Out of School Season & Mini Marlins - June 3 to August 1

Individual & Team Picture Day - June 21

MVP Bottoms Up - June 30, 2024 *all-team volunteer requirement

Mini Marlin Celebration - July 26

Spirit Week - July 29 through August 1

OMPA - August 2-4, 2024 *all-team volunteer requirement
