This page includes important details about optional, private (one-on-one) competitive
swim lessons during summer swim season. These lessons are for swimmers who are
registered for the MVP Swim Team. Lesson registration will open each Tuesday at 8 PM
for the following week, and end Sunday at noon, so that we can distribute coach’s
schedules for the week.
Coach age limits/ restrictions are as follows:
- Trevor - 9 and up (one lesson per swimmer per week)
- Ashley - All ages, except Minis
- Jake - All ages
- Justin - All Ages
Lesson fees are $45 for Trevor, $40 for Ashley and Jake, and $32 for Justin.
Lesson times vary week to week due to swim meets and coach’s other commitments.
Registration
Lesson registration happens here, and is paid for by credit card when booked. There
are no cancellations or refunds, so please have your calendar open when you select
a lesson time. Refunds will be permitted only if your coach has to cancel the
lesson.
There will be no makeup lessons unless a coach must cancel or the pool is
closed. If you register for a lesson that your swimmer can’t use, please find an
appropriately aged swimmer to sell, trade or give the lesson to at the discretion of both
parties.
It is the parent/caregiver’s job to find the coach who will be near the pool at the
time of the lesson. It is not the coach's responsibility.
