Swim Team News ~ Week of March 25
WEEK OF MARCH 25, 2024
Dear Swim Team Families,
Hail and rain wouldn’t even keep our youngest Marlins away! 65 swimmers participated in the 8 & Under Evaluations on Saturday. It was a wet and wild day, but everyone jumped in to show off their skills. It was wonderful to see new and veteran families, and observe our junior coaches helping out in the pool. Kudos to our junior coaches for a job well done.
A big thank you to Emily Polcari who led our first swim suit fitting at MVP on Sunday. We had a steady stream of Marlins trying on suits for the new season. If you missed it, the next fitting is Tuesday April 9, 4-6pm, at MVP. This is the final fitting at MVP. If that doesn’t work for you, Elsmore Swim Shop will do drop-in fittings at their Walnut Creek store (2054 Treat Blvd.) during the following dates and times:

4/21 11-4
4/28 11-4

Elsmore provided the 20% off coupon below for our families. Unfortunately it can not be used on MVP team gear, but you can use it online and in their store for goggles, practice suits, etc.
Weekday and Weekend Spring Clinics (yes, Saturday, March 30) are happening this week. A reminder that there are no Spring Clinics during Spring Break, the week of April 1.

Volunteer Sign Ups:
A note from MVP Swim Team Volunteer Coordinator Sara Megson: The time is coming! Our MVP Swim Team would not function without the volunteer commitments of our amazing families! Each and every swim meet and social event is run by all of us - it is a collective effort. Volunteer sign ups will open on Team Unify on April 25 and remain open through April 27. Details will be shared after Spring Break. Thank you all for being an amazing part of this community and for your commitment to support what our kids love!
