August update 2: Pricing, Coaching, and important note!

Hi SVYA!

We are excited to release some more information, this time regarding pricing and coach allocation.

Here is the following monthly price for each group:

Riptide:  $84/month

Tidal Wave:  $112/month

Tsunami:  $182/month

And here are the schedules of each coach, and the groups they will lead:

Riptide: Coach Jenn leads, Coach Joseph assists
Tidal Wave: Coach Isaac leads, and Coach Joseph assists

Tsunami: Coach Joseph leads, and Coach Isaac assists

With this structure, we want to be able to provide more individualized coaching while also providing flexibility and cohesion between all swimmers in the pool. There will be frequent coach’s meetings to ensure all staff are aware of each swimmer's goals, both short and long term.

We are currently working on the back end of the registration/signup process itself, and will release that information as soon as it is available.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We are planning on having swimming tryouts next week, and so we need to know how many of our current swimmers plan to return for the fall season. We want to save spots on our team for those of you who are already part of SVYA, so please confirm your intent to swim in the fall season by next Tuesday (8/16). If we don't hear from you by that deadline, there may not be space available for your swimmer. 

Next on our agenda is working out the team handbook and meet schedule. We plan on having more home meets, and more opportunities for our swimmers to be able to shine! The goal is to have a meet about once a month, and to have both USA and YMCA meets in our lineup. We also plan on having some home meets throughout the year, giving our swimmers more chances to compete at home! More info on that will come out shortly.
