September Update 9/29: Meet Deadline and website updates:)

Hi all!

Friendly reminder that we have a deadline coming up (tomorrow night on September 30th) for the IST Open (USA/PNS meet down at King County Aquatic Center). This is a huge pool area and the site of championship meets. More details can be found on the PDF, accessed through clicking on the event. 

Please indicate if you will be swimming, and feel free to select preferred events this time around if you are! Choices are subject to coaches approval to make sure swimmers are racing what was worked on during practice and to ensure plenty of rest and appropriate challenge.

Our October 15th meet is still being finalized, but getting closer! I am projecting about a 12:30pm warmup time, and the meet will last about 2-3 hours at most. We will be swimming with our neighbors to the North, Whatcom Y, and potentially one other team.

Thirdly, I am updating different tabs and adding more information to our website for our swimmers:) This is a work in progress, but I hope that this information finds use and can be beneficial to our team. We will also be starting dryland workouts very soon! More information to be released shortly.

Great first month team! As we get deeper into the season, I am excited to see our program expand and bring more for the SVY Swim Team.
