October 10 Update

Good evening SVYA,

I hope that everyone had a good weekend and Monday! Just a final couple of reminders:

  • We have our Mock Meet on Wednesday October 12th at 5:00-6:30 for the whole team! All Tsunami, Tidal Wave, and Riptide swimmers will have their practices moved to that time.
  • Our home meet is this Saturday, October 15th! Warm-ups will start at 12:30pm. Thank you for those of you who have already declared intent to swim. I will be sending our entries off to Whatcom at 12:01am :)

Our Trunk-or-Treat event is getting closer! If you are able and willing to participate with your vehicle, please let me know! You can send me an email or comment on the Facebook post linked here. Feel free to ask me any questions as well!

Big Thank You to those of you who have already taken the steps to become an official! Our parents and volunteers are what add to our program, and give those special and fun moments to the kids and swimmers on the team.

Congratulations to Coach Jenn on officially moving up to become our Aquatics Director, and to Justin for moving up to Executive Director! Leadership has been great and supportive, and I am happy to be surrounded by an excellent team and awesome parent group. To support the new administrative transitions, I will be answering team finance/billing questions instead of routing that to Justin.
