Aug 28 Update: Fall 2023 Season and policy updates

Good morning SVYA Tritons,

I hope you are all having a wonderful end of August! I have a few updates that I would like to share with everyone before we dive into the next competitive season!

• Pricing has changed for the Tsunami group only - our most experienced swimmers have been welcome to some extra time in the water, and now our program and pricing reflects that change. Accounts will default to the old rate (which is now called Tsunami B), but needed to make this distinction for our administrative team! • There will be the annual $50 registration fee applied to active accounts at the beginning of September. This is a requirement to swim on the team, as it covers our team/YMCA registration cost to participate in swim meets as well as covers the cost of our website and new/spare team caps.

    • Email Joseph ([email protected]) with the following information:
      • Name of swimmer(s) (first and last)
      • Will they be swimming this season?
      • (for older swimmers only) Will they be swimming with the high school team?

• USA Swimming registration for 2024 will be available September 1st! This will include coverage for the 2023 September-December period. I will send out the link (works for both new and returning swimmers) and more information when it becomes available.
