Upcoming home meet volunteering and officials training!!

Good afternoon!

Our home meet on Sunday, October 8th is coming up soon and I wanted to get this sign up link up and running beforehand! This will help with getting a general headcount, and I am happy to add names to the list if you want to email me instead.

Also: we are going to be starting up our concessions stand again! We are hoping that we can get a couple people to help with hospitality, that volunteer position is included in the sign up link below.

Jim (my old coach who was helping officiate the mock meet yesterday) is a trainer for officials and was offering to setup a class (in person at the Y) for anyone that may be interested! No swim experience is required. Please consider becoming an official, swim meets can't run without them! If you are interested in a November in-person officials class, let me know!

If you would prefer a virtual one (hosted on Zoom by Earl), let me know and I can pass along that information as well. I believe there is a virtual course being offered as early as this Saturday, October 7th.

Thanks in advance! Without help from the parents, these events and opportunities for the swimmers aren't possible.
