Good morning Tritons,

 

First off, thank you again to the volunteers who helped run the meet yesterday! Nothing but positive feedback from the other teams on how well everything ran. We had about 160 swimmers attend (171 registered) which is almost 40 more than our largest meet!

 

We had 80 personal best times across 37 swimmers, and several new qualifying times. The biggest drop in time goes to Victoria Jomantara, improving 51 seconds in the 100 Back!

 

And congratulations to our new Y Regional qualifying swims:

We have a few more important dates coming up I’d like to share as well:

  • TODAY (Nov 18) is the last day to submit an order form for our Poinsettia Fundraiser! Please turn it into me by the end of practice today if you have one.

  • Nov 21st is the registration deadline for the Everett YMCA meet on December 7th. This is the last Y meet before Y-State, so if you haven’t gotten your 2 YMCA meets in, please consider going! Each swimmer needs 2 YMCA meets since Regionals last year to be eligible to attend the Y-State Championships.

  • Dec 12th will be our Winter potluck! We will be renting the cafeteria space at Mount Baker / Little Mountain Elementary this time to accommodate our growing numbers! More information will be posted on the event page soon.

  • More events will be updated/uploaded to our calendar soon, so please check it out!

 

Our scoreboard has been shipped and will arrive soon! Once it does, we will find a time for our installation company to mount it. I expect us to be able to use it for our next home meet in February. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in getting a new scoreboard!
