March 9 Update: Regionals, Upcoming practices, and more

Happy Sunday Tritons!

We have just finished up at Y Regionals in Boise, Idaho, and wanted to share some great news and updates on our upcoming practice schedule.

At Y Regionals, we had 20 swimmers competing against 12 other teams from Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington. We were in division 2, which consists of teams with 14-33 swimmers. This division had 8 teams competing in it, the most teams by far. Out of all of the division 2 teams, ours placed third and we placed 4th overall! We also had Ella Inman receive the high point award for girls age 9-10, way to go!

Very proud of how far the team has come not just this season, but the past three years. Thank you all for the constant support, I am looking forward to talking more about the future at our banquet on Friday! 

For our practices this week, we will have a combined practice on Monday, March 10 (tomorrow) and Wednesday March 12. Both practices going from 4:30-6:00 with the last 30 minutes or so being a game. The first hour of practice will be a mentor day for both Monday and Wednesday. No practice on Friday - that is our banquet and award ceremony day! Banquet has doors open at 5:00pm.
