FIRST PRACTICE

Monday, March 11- 3:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

 

PRACTICE SCHEDULE FOR THE SEASON

AFTERNOONS (All players)

Monday - Friday 3:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

 

MORNINGS (Mandatory for Varsity, option but strongly encouraged for JV)

Mon & Wed 6:00 am to 7:00 am

 

 

SPRING BREAK

Practice is optional, but encouraged to attend if in town. Schedule TBD

WHAT TO BRING...

...TO PRACTICE: Pool bag with practice suit, towel, swim cap, googles and water bottle

...TO GAMES: Pool bag with game suit, cap, towel, watter bottle, shorts/sweats, and Seaholm spiritwear

...TO TOURNAMENTS: Pool bag with game suit, cap, towel/extra towels, watter bottle, shorts/sweats, Seaholm spiritwear, flipflops/shower shoes, cards/homework/other entertainment for between games

 

ABSENCES

 

Every team member is expected to be at all practices.  An athlete that misses a practice is doing a disservice to the team and participation in a game may be forfeited.

 

If you cannot attend practice it is the athlete's responsibility to tell the coach yourself.  Do not ask a teammate to do it for you.

 

The only excused absences are meeting with a teacher, illness/injury or unavoidable family conflicts.

 

GAME DAY EXPECTATIONS

  • Coordinating your ride to and from the game
  • Dress in the appropriate game day attire as specified by the Captains
  • Cell phones should not be on the pool deck.  Focus should be on the game and cheering for the team
  • JV athletes are required to watch and cheer for Varsity team.  Varsity athletes are required to watch and cheer for JV

EARNING A VARSITY LETTER

  • Attendance and effort are in good standing
  • Display respectful attitude and positive outlook on pool deck and in the community, to team leadership, coaches, captains, parent volunteers, game officials, opposing team, etc
  • Earning a place on the roster for post-season games, beginning with District 3 Tournament
