Practice Schedule
-Summer 2026-

SWIM PRACTICE RULES & EXPECTATIONS
-All swimmers are expected to arrive 15 minutes early for practice to participate in warm-ups (stretching, strength, core).
-Swimmers are to be behind the diving blocks promptly for the start of practice.
-Swim caps & goggles must be worn to all practices.
-All swimmers are expected to:
- be ready to focus and work hard
- be respectful to all coaches and teammates
- keep any chatting and playing for before/after practice
- avoid horseplay on the pool deck and in the pool
- follow all rules set in place by Southbend Pool Management
EVENING PRACTICE TIMES
Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays
Monday, May 18, 2026 - Wednesday, July 22, 2026*
5:45 - 8:00 p.m.
(see following schedule for specific times slots)
*Note: There will be NO PRACTICE on Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)
Group A: 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. (Bubble Blowers*)
- Arrive at 5:45pm for warm-ups
*This practice is for all "bubble blowers" (those who are just learning how to swim) and/or any swimmer who is unable to swim 25 meters (length of the pool) without hanging on the lane ropes.
Group B: 6:00 – 6:50 p.m. (ages 8 and under)
- Arrive at 5:45pm for warm-ups
Group C: 7:00 – 7:50 p.m. (ages 9 and up)
- Arrive at 6:45pm for warm-ups
MORNING PRACTICE TIMES*
Mondays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays
June 1 - July 22
6:30 – 7:30 a.m.*
*Please see Coach Nae if you are interested in attending morning practices.
One Lifeguard will be provided by the Association to accommodate in water practices, home meets and end of season awards banquet. One SBST coach will be life guard certified and on pool deck during all morning practices.
