Team Suit Distribution #1 Wednesday; Practice Rules and Expectations

Team Suits

  • The suits and other items from our first order window have arrived and been sorted!  If your swimmer will be at practice tomorrow, please pick up their suits on the pool deck.  
  • If you are unable to pick up your suit tomorrow, we will make future arrangements for additional pick up times.  
  • Remember that if you missed the first team suit order window, tomorrow from 4:00-7:00 will be your last chance to try on and order a team suit.  Again, these suits are not guaranteed to arrive before Time Trials or Team Photos, but they will arrive in time for most of the season's swim meets.  The order deadline for this batch will be April 21st.  Suits can be ordered from our team site at Agon.  

 

Practice Rules and Expectations For Both Swimmers and Parents

  • Now that we are into the second week of practice, please remind your swimmers what is appropriate behavior on the pool deck.  We want them to have fun, but there is to be no running on the pool deck (playing on the grass is fine). 
  • If your swimmer is not actively engaged in practice, they should not be near the pool talking to other swimmers, dangling their feet in the water, or otherwise being a distraction to the practicing swimmers and coaches. 
  • Please also remind them that they should not be tearing palm fronds off of the trees or otherwise destroying/playing with the foliage around the pool. 
  • Parents, the behavior of your swimmers is your responsibility.  The coaches and lifeguards are not there to babysit your kids.  Please do not leave your kids unattended if they are young or are unable to follow our practice protocols and safety rules.  
  • We have a great relationship with the James Lemos Pool and its management so let's all work together to keep it this way!
