Chestnut Run Stingrays!!!

Head Coach

Jason Diehl

He swam at 4 year swimmer at Rowan University and currently work for the United States Postal Service (not a mailman). I started in the sport of swimming at the age of 5 for the Peachwood Pirates. Came to Chestnut Run when I was 13 years old. I began assisting the head coach at 18 years old and that led to me becoming the head coach at 25 years of age. I’ve been around the pool my whole life and can’t think of anything I enjoy more than helping kids achieve their goals and do their best. You will find me to be VERY competitive, intense, and highly animated at times, probably agreed upon by many parents, and kids, that I have coached along the way. I look forward to a great, albeit a tough, season ahead with many time drops.

Assistant Coaches

Andrew Clemente

Since I was 7 years old, swimming has been an integral part of my life. For the past decade, I have swum for Chestnut Run and currently I am swimming breaststroke and IM events for Rowan University's Swim team. I am the facility/operations manager at the Landis Theater in Vineland, NJ, while studying business management at Rowan University’s Roher College of Business. Now that I am no longer able to suit up for the Stingray’s, I am honored to be able to use the skills I have learned and experiences I've had in and out of the pool, to help the team to grow and improve. I look forward to having a great season with many great swims!

Emma Berry

Started swimming at Chestnut Run when she was 7 years old. Throughout her years she also swam for Tide Water Aquatics and Woodstown High School. Emma is now a nursing student at the University of South Carolina and swims for their club swim. Emma is excited to come back and be the assistant coach for the team that she started with. She hopes to be a beacon of positivity on the pool deck, helping kids fall in love and improve at the sport.
