(Summer 2026) Job Title: Pool Manager – Summer
Location: Downs Farm Community Swim Club
Company Name: Haddonfield-Berlin Road, Cherry Hill
Employment Type: 40/hr week - Summer Season Only
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pool Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pool facilities. This is a dynamic position where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and overall enjoyment of the pool environment for our guests or residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pool staff, including lifeguards and maintenance personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and provide training on emergency procedures
- Maintain pool cleanliness, monitor water quality, and ensure proper chemical levels
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Monitor and track inventory, including pool supplies and equipment
- Enforce a maintenance schedule for the pool and surrounding areas
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Assist with coordinating pool events/programs to ensure staffed appropriately or programs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pool management or related field preferred
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays (if required)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license (preferred)
