Straehle Invitational Championship Meet Entry Policy

To be eligible to participate in INDIVIDUAL OR RELAY EVENTS in the Straehle Invitational Championship Meet it is CMSL’s and our Team’s Policy that swimmers must have participated in 2 regular season dual meets. The Waverly Woods Swim Team also encourages its swimmers to attend at a minimum 8 practices over the course of the summer season.

Qualifying Times are set by the Central Maryland Swim League.

STRAEHLE INDIVIDUAL ENTRIES POLICY

The CMSL rule is that Qualifying swimmers may enter no more that (3) events and a relay. Each team may enter only (1) relay team in each relay event.

Our Team Policy is in situations where a swimmer(s) has qualified in more than 3 individual events for their age group, the Head Coach will determine which 3 events the swimmer(s) shall be entered.

STRAEHLE RELAY POLICY

To participate in the Straehle relay, the swimmer must have swum on a relay team that attained a Straehle qualifying time at a dual meet during the current summer season.

Each team may only send ONE relay team to the Straehle Invitational Meet, therefore, not all swimmers that have swum on a qualifying relay team will be able to swim on the relay at the Straehle meet.

For all relays the relay participants are at the coaches’ discretion (if they have participated in a qualifying relay).
