Coaches and Directors
I’m Stella Meyerhoeffer, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Waverly Watercats this summer! Swimming has been a part of my life for over 15 years. I had the incredible opportunity to compete on Loyola University Maryland's swim team, where I served as team captain during my senior year. I graduated from Loyola in 2024 with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in a Gifted and Creative program at Towson University.
After graduating, I made the move from New York to Baltimore to start an exciting new chapter. Currently, I am a teacher in Howard County, where I teach first-grade special education. I love working with kids and enjoy seeing them pick up new skills, create friendships, and build their confidence. Carrying this passion over to the pool, I’m excited to help young swimmers grow in their abilities, form connections, and boost their self-esteem.
Some of my most cherished memories stem from my summers on the swim team, which is why coaching the Watercats is such a dream come true. My goal is to foster a positive, competitive atmosphere where swimmers can grow, have fun, and make lifelong memories. I’m looking forward to a summer filled with laughter, teamwork, and amazing swims. Let’s make it a season to remember!
