A group of swimmers from Camana Bay Aquatic Club head to Toronto this weekend to compete in the North York Aquatic Club Youth Cup and Mega City Meets. The meets, which take place at the Etobicoke Olympium pool, run from the 29th November to 2nd December. Zororo Motomba (CBAC) once again took down the CIASA records in the 9/10yrs 50m & 100m freestyle events with 32.82 and 1:11.96 respectively while team mate Avery Lambert (CBAC) lowered her own 100m backstroke record with a 1:48.86 in the 8 & under category. An Olympic gold medalist will be participating in the 2012 Pirates Week 5K sea swim on Saturday, 10 November. Oussama Mellouli, also known as Ous, won the gold medal in the 10K marathon swim at the 2012 London Olympics. He also won bronze in the 1,500 meter freestyle. Sports Psychologist, Dr.Craig Handford, made a whistlestop visit to Grand Cayman to talk to Cayman Swim Coaches.
