Practice Tips: (For kids and Parents)
- Arrive on time
- Bring water and/or gatorade
- Bring tennis shoes (in case we do dryland workouts)
- Have a good attitude
- Put your name on all your personal items with permanent markers
- Be well rested and ready to work!
- Encourage your teammates to do their best
Swim Meet Tips: (For kids and parents)
- Attend meets! Relays are the most fun and exciting races in a swim meet! The more kids we have the more relays we will be able to sign up! Relays are also a pivotal part in winning meets as they earn double the points an individual event does.
- Be well rested and fueled! (Food, Hydration and Sleep are just as important as good practice!)
- Attend warm-ups (Especially on backstroke days)
- Cheer on your teammates
- Listen for your events to be called and make it to the bullpen whenever your event is called
- Talk to the coach before and after each swim
- Stay hydrated and eat healthy snacks throughout the day
