The Seals Swim Team provides training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to offer age-specific training designed to challenge and support each athlete, helping them develop to the best of their abilities.

Swim Team Practice Schedule

Location: YMCA on James Road (unless otherwise noted)

Ages 15 & Over

  • Morning Practice: Monday – Thursday, 5:15 AM – 6:45 AM

    • Followed by 20–30 minutes of dryland training

  • Evening Practice: Monday & Thursday, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Ages 11 – 14

  • Monday – Thursday, 6:45 AM – 8:00 AM

    • Followed by 20–30 minutes of dryland training

Ages 9 – 10

  • Dryland: 7:45 AM – 8:00 AM

  • Pool Time: 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM (Monday – Thursday)

Ages 8 & Under

  • Dryland: 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM

  • Pool Time: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM (Monday – Thursday)


In-Betweeners (Divided into Two Sessions)

  • Session 1:

    • Dryland: 7:45 AM – 8:00 AM

    • Pool Time: 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM

  • Session 2:

    • Dryland: 8:30 AM – 8:45 AM

    • Pool Time: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM

  • Oldest swimmers will be placed in Session 1, and youngest in Session 2, but adjustments may be made to balance groups.


Pups Program (Location: Comanche Cove)

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Session 1: June 3 – June 26, 2025

  • Session 2: July 1 – July 24, 2025
