2022 Speedo Sectionals

La Mirada, CA

December 16-19, 2022

We had a very strong showing over 3.5 days of racing at Sectionals as our Senior Division athletes closed out the December Championship season. With this meet being right in the middle of school finals, our student-athletes really showed off their abilities to balance both academics and athletic performances. The ability to balance both school and swim is what makes these student-athletes so impressive. No excuses were made, just simply taking care of business with swim performances fueld by excellent efforts and then executing studying for finals. Our athletes stepped up for themselves and their teammates over and over again and there was fantastic energy through consistent support. This resulted in multiple personal bests, new qualifying times, fun relay swims, and plenty of smiles. Despite the colder temperatures in the morning and at finals, our athletes found ways to have fun with each other. It was such an enjoyable experience for all and it kept things very light. It’s wonderful to see our athletes perform when they don’t have all the weight of the world on their shoulders. Once again, the maturity these athletes showed during the weekend is another reason what makes these athletes so great to work with. Congratulations on representing Rose Bowl in such a strong way! Again, huge shoutout to our families and Boosters for getting our team area setup and making sure our athletes are always taken care of. As always, this truly is a team effort and it takes all of us to move forward together.
