Fall practice for NEW swimmers and returning swimmers will begin on Monday, Aug. 26th. New swimmers are to come at 3:45pm and be prepared to swim the length of the pool for their tryout. New swimmers will practice until 4:45pm. Returning swimmers should come to your practice group. Team members who are swimming for their high school will practice with us except on the day before a high school swim meet.

Congratulations to our swimmers who will be competing in the South Carolina Long Course State Championship being held at USC on June 25-28th. Ethan Burge: 100 fly, 50 fly; Ella DeNicola: 50 breast, 100 breast, 100 back; Ben Hawkins: 800 free, 200 free, 50 breast, 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM; EJ McGinnis: 100 breast. Swim fast, swim smart and have fun!

With the final results in, Bailey Clark became our newest rhino by swimming 100 freestyle under one minute at the YMCA meet in Greenwood last weekend with a time of 59.74!! Congratulations, BAILEY!!

Our team members who attended the Long Course Invitational in Savannah this past weekend with BEST TIMES were: Hannah and Ryan Barnett, Ethan Burge, Danielle Chappell, Ella DeNicola, Ben and Sam Hawkins and Zachery Sarka. Two new records were achieved in the meet: Hannah Barnett in the 13-14 yr old 50 meter backstroke and Sam Hawkins in the 7-8 yr old 50 freestyle! Congratulations!

Virginia swam in the Sunshine State Conference Championship today and swam a 24.38 in the 50 free and made FINALS tonight. She is going in to the finals in 7th place! Go VIrginia!
