Over 20 SCST swimmers compete on five different HS teams at GC8 Champs Today 8 high schools in 2 counties competed in the GC8 Gulf Coast Eight Conference meet. Five of those 8 schools are home to several of our high school swimmers. SCST swimmers brought home several awards today and cheered each other on even though they swim for rival high schools! Dickemann Named SCST Head Coach We want to share with you the exciting news that Lead Coach Michelle Dickemann will be transitioning to be the Head Coach of the Sun Coast Swim Team. Mr. Gatton has been offered a teaching position in Inverness that will bring him closer to home. In addition, this will allow him more time to devote to his lovely wife, Mrs. Gayle. Fast swimming at the 2022 Spring Area 3 Championships Sun Coast Swim Team this past weekend competed at the 2022 Spring Florida Swimming Area 3 Championships at the North Shore Aquatics Center in St. Petersburg. 20 Sun Coast swimmers swam in 95 different events and 75% of those swims were new personal best times.
