TEAM DUES & MEET FEE POLICY
The Department of Leisure Services charges quarterly (every three months) team dues. These dues are collected at the beginning of each quarter on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st. These fees are billed and paid by direct billing. Any fees not paid on time will be subject to a $10 late fee.
Level I $90/quarter ($30/month) for the first child $50/quarter additional child(ren)
Level II $120/quarter ($40/month) for the first child $75/quarter additional child(ren)
Level III $150/quarter ($50/month) for the first child $100/quarter additional child(ren)
Note: First child is always the one in the higher level, and the additional child discount is in the lower level. Those who are enrolled in Medicaid and/or the Free/Reduced School Lunch Program, the team fees will be 50% off with annual proof of program enrollment. Fees will not increase in the middle of a quarter if your swimmer moves up a level. Your fee increase will be effective the next billing cycle
Swimming meets are billed separately from the quarterly practice fees.
There are 2 charges assigned to meet entries.
1) The entry fee per event includes a fee collected by the LSC. The total amount varies by location and/or the meet host.
2) Some facilities charge a facility use fee. For example, in Birmingham, many pools do not have their own facility therefore they charge a facility fee to cover the cost of using the facility

NOTE: All meet fees are due in advance for each team. Please note the cut-off date for registration and be sure you have registered for the event. Once you have registered for a meet you are responsible for the meet fees regardless of whether you attend the meet or not. Meet fees will be billed through your automatic payment system the same as your monthly dues. By registering for a given meet you are acknowledging you understand this policy and agree to the above terms. We realize unforeseen circumstances can keep you from attending a meet at the last minute, but DDST will already have paid the fees to the sponsoring team on your behalf and must be reimbursed for them. None of the teams provide a refund for no-shows.
