SLST Volunteer Policy Highlights

Annual Requirement

Each SLST family is required to complete 10 hours of volunteer service per calendar year (January 1 – December 31).

If a family joins after January 1 or leaves before December 31, hours will be prorated at 50 minutes per month of participation.
Tracking & Opportunities

Check the Events tab (after logging into your account) regularly for available volunteer opportunities.

There is no rollover of hours to future years and no transfer of hours between families.
Unfulfilled Hours

Any uncompleted hours will be billed at $25/hour, either at the end of the year or upon leaving the team.

Payment must be made promptly to avoid disruption of participation.
Non-Compliance Consequences

1st Violation: Suspension of parent membership and swimmer's participation until hours are fulfilled or balance is paid.

2nd Violation: Termination from the swim team.
Parish & SLEM Families
-
Up to 3 hours of service at St. Lawrence Elementary/Middle School or the St. Lawrence Parish may count toward SLST volunteer hours.

It is the family’s responsibility to email these hours to the Swim Team Manager before December 31.

Late submissions (after Dec. 31) will not be accepted.
