Hilton wins 39th annual Foster’s Sea Swim
Dominic Hilton, of Seven Mile Swimmers, took first place at the annual Foster’s Sea Swim, besting 113 other competitors.
In the open water 800-metre event, held along Seven Mile Beach on Saturday, 14 Oct., Hilton clocked 9:19.33.
Hilton, a 2023 CARIFTA 5K open water gold medallist and 2023 silver medallist at the Flowers One-Mile Sea Swim, was followed by teammates Jordan Lisle and Harper Barrowman.
Lisle finished in a time of 9:31.95 – 2.91 seconds ahead of Barrowman, who is considered to be the fastest Caymanian female open water swimmer.
The third overall male was youngster Lev Fahy, while Riley Watson finished second among female swimmers followed by Teagan Nash. They all finished in top 10.
