Last weekend 16 SMS swimmers made waves in the highly anticipated EAJ Spring into Long Course swim meet in Jacksonville, Florida, leaving an indelible mark of determination and excellence at the Elizabeth Walton Aquatic Center (Episcopal School of Jacksonville).

Despite the cold temperatures, our swimmers sliced through the water with precision and speed. Each stroke and turn demonstrated their dedication to the sport and commitment to excellence. It was evident that our swimmers were not just participants, but true competitors, ready to give their all for their team.

Behind every stroke and every victory, our swimmers were buoyed by the steadfast support of our sponsor – Pro Yacht. Their generous contribution not only provided essential resources but also served as a source of motivation and encouragement for our athletes.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsor for their unwavering support, which has played a pivotal role in our swimmers’ success.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our coach, Darren Mew, for his unwavering commitment to our swimmers. This has not only cultivated their skills in the pool; but has also instilled in them invaluable lessons of perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

This was an invaluable experience for our swimmers. They may have competed as individuals, but they emerged as a united team, bonded by shared experiences and a collective determination to achieve greatness

The team came away with all swimmers recording personal best times in many of their events.
