Our team is both a YMCA and USA Swimming year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching for all abilities for swimmers ages 6 and over. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to national competitor.
All our coaches have completed the Safety Training for Swim Coaches requirement and all have completed background screening through USA Swimming and through the YMCA. Our Head Coach has his Level 5 American Swim Coach Association certification while our Assistant Head Coaches have their Level 3 or 2 certifications. The Boise YMCA Swim Team has achieved Level 4 status in USA Swimming’s Club Recognition Program and has been named a Bronze Medal Club by USA Swimming.
The Boise YMCA Swim Team is a non-profit club.
The Boise YMCA Swim Team strives to be a well rounded youth activity. Our coaches, parents, and swimmers practice the YMCA core values on a daily basis. Please feel free to ask our coaching staff or registrar any questions you may have about joining our team, practice schedules, swim meets, etc.
