Swim Meet Schedule May 2024 to August 2024 updated 05.07.2024*

May 17-19: Spring Fling Long Course Invite – Boise at the West YMCA. Spring Fling IS a GREAT swim meet to participate in; the pool is fast and there should be very good competition from a large radius including Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah and more.
May 24-27: Speedo Arizona Invitational – Mesa, AZ Swimmers must meet qualifying times (QTs) to attend. QTs are posted HERE and are the Arizona B time standards and are not too restrictive. We now have enough swimmers and will send a coach.
June 8-9: Summer Classic – Twin Falls, ID This meet will be long course, can be a great meet for all ages depending on June weather in Idaho as it is outside facilities. This year the meet will start later in the day Saturday allowing families to come up for the first day without incurring hotel expenses. Like all meets you can swim one or all days of the meet, whatever works best for your family.
June 15: Practice Meet – Pocatello, ID Practice meets are a great way to try swim races for the first time or to try races that you’ve not done before. They will be held at the Ross Park pool from 7:00 to 9:00 am, fun for then entire family/team!
June 20-23: Missoula Firecracker Invitational, Missoula, MT This meet is open to all swimmers (able to swim 50 meters and longer). This meet is a great primer for the Snake River Summer Championship Meet one month later (July 19-21 in Boise, ID). It offers a prelim/final format over three days, just like Summer Championships and Western Zone meets. Weather can range from rain and/or snow to 90 plus degrees. We plan on sending Coach Jonah to this meet if we have 10 or more swimmers sign-up.
June 29: Practice Meet – Pocatello, ID Practice meets are a great way to try swim races for the first time or to try races that you’ve not done before. They will be held at the Ross Park pool from 7:00 to 9:00 am, fun for then entire family/team!
July 13: Mashed Potato Dash – Idaho Falls. Fun swim meet for ALL swimmers.
July 19-21: Snake River SUMMER CHAMPS!!!! – Boise, Idaho Central Aquatic Center. We would like to see ALL swimmers with QUALIFING TIMES attend this swim meet. Qualifying times have been posted on the pool walls all year and Coach John can email them to you as well. This is a great meet for swimmers to set goals to achieve.
July 27: Practice Meet – Pocatello, ID Last meet of the summer for most of our swimmers, great way to end the season!
July 30-August 3: 2024 Western Zone Senior Championships – Clovis, CA Swimmers must be age 15 to 18 and have qualifying times to attend this meet. This is a very fun meet as all Snake River Swimming swimmers that qualify compete as one team. Please contact Coach John for qualifying times, they are also posted on the Rec. Center pool walls.
August 7-10: 2024 Western Zone Age Group Championships – Boise, Idaho Central Aquatic Center. Swimmers must have qualifying times -last year it was AAA time standards for each age group.
