Neptune Aquatics provides a variety of aquatic activities in North Dade for more than 40+ years. Our swimmers and athletes come from different backgrounds and social environments representing a tremendous range of skills and abilities.

NA offers a PRE TEAM, SWIM TEAM and WATER POLO. The swim program introduce prepatory swim mechanics, skill sets and conditioning for swim competitions while incorporating a water safety environment- it's also is a predasessor to our LTS classes- Summer Swim in the summers.

Each year, we teach hundreds of students to swim in our Pre Team Swim Program. Most of our new swimmers are in the beginners L1A-L2 (ages three to twelve years old) and then advance to the prep competition Levels 3 & 4.

For individuals that have mastered the skills covered in the Pre Team program are promoted to Swim Team (FISH Grpoup I, II & II). This level teaches the four competitive strokes, breathing techniques, drill sets and introduce them to Long Course conditioning. To show the swimmers improvements, we organized in-house "Fun Meets" where everyone participates in heat events and is awarded a ribbon for each swim stroke.

Our Water polo program is a sport that offers a more vigorous competitive activity for swimmers who still enjoy swimming with more energy and exitement in the water. We host scrimmages and participate in state and national competitions. We organize with neighboring teams coaching skill sets and knowledge of the game as well as creating a foundation for building a team reporte.

We emphasize positive sportsmanship, team pride, and personal improvement. As a reward, we celebrate by hosting team social fevents- ice cream socials and pot-lucks for swimmers who improved their times. We hope to introduce competition where trying to win is important but 'Doing your best is what is rewarded the most'.

Once swimmers progress to the next swim level from Fish, the swimmers increase in age/skill set, qualifying times for Big Meets such as A, B, AA, BB, AAA times for Junior Olympics qualifiers will increase their chances to swim on our more advance levels requiring more work and commitment. We have been very fortunate to have a long list of successful swimmers. Many compete for their local high schools and some has won state titles (swimmers competing at the high school level qualified for an FHSAA State swim meet takes only the fastest swimmers in each event from an entire district).

Our goal is assisiting with our athletes to attend collage on scholarships for swimming and or water polo. Also, it is pleasing to see the number of swimmers who have found employment using the skills developed during our time together as either lifeguards, coaches, aquatic instructors or other occupations benefiting from the discipline of swimming.

Our team travels throughout the state and Nation representing our community at Sectionals and Senior Nationals swim meets with the top 3% swimmers in the entire nation. We also try to maintain an active Masters Swim program for those adults who wish to either continue competition swim goals or for recreational desires- stay fit or get back in shape (currently on HOLD).

Our team pride implores us not to exclude any swimmer based on ability.

And coming soon, we will be introducing our new Diving program extending it to young athletes starting at ages 5 years old.

We look forward to adding you to our family!
