LSC Championship Meets:

We are looking forward to the 2026 SES SC Championships in Huntsville on February 27 – March 1. 

Please use the following application to apply to officiate and request optional evaluations no later than February 13.
 
 
 
This year is planned to be a slightly modified version of our normal short-course format. We will run 2 pools in the morning preliminary sessions for 11 and over along with timed finals for the 10 and under swimmers. However, meet management reserves the option to have separate 10&Under afternoon sessions as it has been in recent past.  The final determination may not be made until the week of the SES Short Course Championship.  We will notify those who have applied to officiate after this has been determined. On the application form, you will have the ability to select a pool preference for each session and/or indicate that you are available to help out wherever needed.  The form is also slightly modified from past forms in order to get your availability for the 10&Under afternoon sessions if they are added.
 
This is a National Officials Qualifying Meet, and you have the opportunity to be evaluated for certification/recertification in USA Swimming's National Certification Program. Anyone requesting an evaluation must be able to officiate a minimum of 4 OQM sessions (11&Over prelims or finals sessions) at this meet as well as fulfill USA Swimming's requirements for evaluation which can be found on the  USA Swimming website. You may request an evaluation via the above form when you apply to officiate the meet.
 
Uniforms will be a white polo over navy bottoms with white shoes (we are aware that the LSC will be transitioning to black in the LC season, but the uniform will still be navy for this meet). You are welcome to wear shorts for Prelims sessions, but for Finals a skirt or long pants are required.
 
We will have Starter (SR) and Deck Referee (DR) clinics before the morning preliminary sessions as shown below:
  • Starter - Saturday at 7:15
  • Deck Ref - Sunday at 7:15 

Officials Attire
White polo shirt with sleeves, black shorts, pants or skirt and black shoes for timed finals and prelim portions of a meet; long black pants or skirt for Finals. Shirts designed to be worn tucked are to be tucked into pants/skirts.  Blue shorts/pants/skirt and white shoes may be worn until 2026 SES Summer Long Course Championships.
