Tri County Elite Swim School Policies & Guidelines

General:

  • The hours of operation and TNT practice schedule are available on our website.
  • During operational hours, our facilities, premises, and equipment are supervised by Swim School Coaches, Lifeguards, and Rowan Facility Management.
  • Swimmers and guests are expected to adhere to facility procedures and policies, maintaining respectful behavior and refraining from the use of obscene language. Facility Rules are posted near the pool area.
  • Tri County Elite Swim School welcomes individuals from all backgrounds. Discrimination, Bullying or harassment of any kind is not tolerated.
  • The swim school is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
  • Users of Rowan recreational equipment are responsible for its proper use and return.

Health:

  • Members and guests must observe health and sanitation rules.
  • Please cancel sessions if your child is unwell to ensure the safety of others.
  • Individuals displaying signs of communicable diseases will be denied admission.
  • Children who have had fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within the last 24 hours should not attend.
  • Encourage restroom use before entering the water and report any accidents to a lifeguard promptly.
  • Only proper swim attire is permitted in the pool.
  • Dispose of trash in designated containers; recyclables in recycling bins.

Safety:

  • Members of TNT and Tri County Elite Swim School must adhere to a code of conduct:
    • Reflect positively on themselves and the swim school.
    • Display respect and sportsmanship towards coaches, officials, and fellow athletes.
    • Follow coaching staff directions during practices and team activities.
    • Do not take any belongings that do not belong to them.
    • Respect and avoid damaging/tampering with facilities.
    • Refrain from illegal or inappropriate behavior that could harm the swim school’s reputation or goals.
    • Do not interfere with other swimmers’ progress.
  • Follow pool safety rules:
    • No running on deck or in locker rooms.
    • Dive only where and how permitted.
    • Avoid unruly behavior such as pushing, yelling, or roughhousing.
    • No towel snapping or hitting.
    • No fighting or disruptive behavior.
  • Swimmers are responsible for knowing and following pool safety rules at all facilities.

Behavioral Expectations:

  • No verbal or physical abuse, assault, or inappropriate touching towards teammates, coaches, officials, or competitors.
  • Compete and practice to the best of their ability, ensuring safety for all.
  • Seek coaching staff approval before leaving supervision when trying to go the bathroom.
  • Parents ask for permission from a coach to walk on Pool deck while practice is going on.

Refund Policies:

  • Swim lessons require a 24-hour cancellation notice; a $25 fee applies if not canceled within this period.
  • A non-refundable $100 deposit is due upon TNT registration and assessed on October 13, 2024.
  • No refunds are available after the first 9 TNT swim sessions of the Winter session and the first 4 or the 2025 Spring session. 
  • If refund is requested, they are prorated based on completed sessions after the $100 Deposit.
