Brazil swimmers finishes atop team standings 2013 South American Junior Championships VALPARAISO, CHILE--Brazil finished atop the team point standings at the Swimming portion of the 2013 South American Junior Championships, swum over the weekend (March 14-17) in Valparaíso. Brazil finished with 732 points, ahead of Venezuela (424) and Argentina (330). IOC visits 2020 Olympics bidders this month LAUSANNE, SWITZERLAND--The Evaluation Commission of International Olympic Committee (IOC) this month visits the three bidders for the 2020 Olympics. At the beginning of this month, the group visited Tokyo, Japan; this week they are in Madrid, Spain; and next week they will be in Istanbul, Turkey. From these visits the Commission will create a report for the IOC membership for the election of the host for the Games. 2013 FINA World Championships Posts Construction Update of Barcelona Aquatic Venues BARCELONA, SPAIN--The organizers of the 2013 World Championships posted a construction update last week: construction projects for the championships are to be finished by the end of this month.
