PARAGUAY--Reports from Paraguay indicate that swimmer Benjamín Hockin will be the nation's flagbearer for the Opening Ceremonies at the 2012 Olympics. Hockin is currently 1 of 7 athletes Paraguay has qualified for the Games. 14th FINA Masters World Championships RICCIONE, ITALY--The 14th World Masters Championships begins its two-weeks of competition this Sunday (June 3-17, 2012) in Riccione. The Championships feature all 5 Aquatics disciplines. Entry numbers are so large this year, that the 3K Open Water race was split onto two to accommodate the field. The U.S. swimmer peering onto Dodge Street from Mutual of Omaha's front lawn fits that description better than most. The 12-foot-tall, 25-foot-wide sculpture portrays a male swimmer appearing to be emerging from the water to take a breath.
