Gadi Shamah

Gadi received a Bachelor of Arts from Dominican University in San Rafael, California. A native of Marin County California, Gadi swam with the Marin Pirates, Marin Water Polo, and at Terra Linda High School before serving as a U.S. Marine.

Gadi has spent the majority of his professional career coaching multiple levels, including Learn-to-Swim programs, Head Coaching Summer League programs, Head Coaching High School, National Qualifiers, interning with Australian National and Olympic Trials Qualifiers, Gadi was the Owner and Head Swim Team Coach at the San Domenico Swimming, and San Domenico School in San Anselmo, CA where he spent six years building the Panthers swim team from the ground up into a USA-sanctioned, year-round program of 80+ swimmers dedicated to competitive swimming.  Most recently he was the Volunteer Assistant Coach/ Interim Assistant for the University of Utah, an NCAA Division 1 swim team before stating at Park City Swimming.

Gadi lives in Park City, UT with his wife, Sarah, and two sons.  In his off time, he loves to mountain bike with his sons.

 

Britt Shunn-Mitchell

Britt’s swim career started at age 5 in Maryland before moving to Utah and swimming for the Sports Academy swim team where she started her coaching career in 2015. In 2019 she became head coach for the Independence YMCA club and masters program for 3 seasons. 

A Logan high school swimmer and team captain for 2 years, Cache Valley and Bear River water polo player and Bear Lake monster swim finisher Britt has been in love with all things aquatics her whole life. Before graduating high school she had 13 reconstructive foot surgeries leaving her with lifelong nerve damage that ignited her passion for inclusive and accessible sports. In 2017 Britt trained at the Best Centre Sports under former Olympian Matthew O’Connor, Pan American Cup Champion Pamela Geijo, and Wavelength Stroke Development founder Sam Holland.

In 2017 Britt joined the Willamette University swim team and scored at her first NCAA conference Championships and ended her last championships as Women’s team captain. Britt spent her time as a student-athlete advocating for gender-inclusive, anti-racist and more accessible collegiate athletics. Covid canceled her senior swim season and brought her back to Utah to be close to family. While at Willamette, Britt studied Economics and Religion, was Debate team captain for 2 years, sports journalist, and a community service learning coordinator. Britt joined Park City’s team in September 2022 as Aquatics Coordinator and a coach in October.
 

Alec Goldfield

Assistant Coach

Alec is a native Californian who moved to Park City with his wife and dog in 2020. He grew up swimming for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics and then swam at Amherst College. Alec served as the head swim coach at Palo Alto Hills Country Club before starting a career in consulting where he worked for 13 years. Alec also received his MBA at UCLA. Alec loves following professional sports and spends his free time skiing, mountain biking, and golfing. His middle name is Thunder, named after a ski slope in Jackson Hole.

 

Arden Tesch

Assistant Coach

Arden, a dedicated swim coach with a love for the water. Growing up on Utah club teams, swimming has always been one of her passions. She competed in numerous meets and championships, and now Arden is thrilled to share her expertise as a coach. With only a few years of coaching experience, Arden is committed to helping swimmers of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential in the pool. When she is not on the deck, you can find her hanging out with my dog and finding art inspiration. Arden is excited to be here to enhance her coaching skills and have fun!

 

Belle Malpede

Assistant Coach

Belle was raised here in Park City and joined the Park City Swim team at age 7 where she swam for 11 years with the team. When she got to high school she also played water polo in the spring season. Belle is currently studying kinesiology at the University of Utah and is working towards obtaining her teaching license with her degree. In her free time she likes snowboarding, rock climbing, paddle boarding, and spending time with her dog. Belle used to give swim lessons to kids and adults with a diverse range of skills and ability levels and found her passion for helping others learn how to swim. Belle now hopes to contribute to a positive, safe, and fun team environment where kids will learn to have fun and swim fast! 

 

Parker Ivers

Assistant Coach

Parker was born and raised right here in Park City and swam with Park City swimming for 8 years, where in my senior year of high school I was captain of the high school swim team and also found my passion for coaching. I started coaching the PCS pre-team where I learned how much I love to coach. I later moved to Logan Utah to continue my academics where I swam on the Utah State University club team, and continued coaching. I coached for the Cache Valley Marlins swim team for 3 years, and was an assistant coach for the Logan High School swim team for 3 years, where my main focus became teaching stroke development and technique. I’m excited to be back in Park City and I’m excited to continue my coaching career where it started

 

Alexis Moon

Assistant Coach

Alexis grew up in Michigan and joined club swimming at the age of 10. She went on to earn a successful club career, culminating in a State Champion Title in the 200 breaststroke. She graduated from Delta State University in May of 2025, studying Human Resources. She also swam, specializing in Breaststroke and earning NCAA All-American Status. In her free time, she loves skiing, hiking, and biking. Alexis has experience with USA Swimming and summer league coaching. She is excited to continue her coaching career at Park City and can’t wait to share her passion and knowledge for swimming.
